Our Client is looking for a Registered Nurse MHP to provide services at Naval Health Clinic Quantico, VA.
Hours:
Monday Friday, between the hours of 07:
00-18:

QualificationsDegree:
Associates Degree of NursingLicensure:
Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered NursePossess a minimum of 1 year of full -time ambulatory care (out-patient) RN experience in the past 2 yearsPossess a minimum of 2 years of full-time pediatric care RN experience in the past 3 years.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced CardiacDuties:
Perform a full range of RN duties in accordance with assignment under the task order, including triage; patient assessment and monitoring; use of patient monitoring and treatment equipment; appropriate nursing care, procedures, and treatments; execution of physicians orders within the guidelines of standard nursing practice; documentation of patient care and observations; and patient education and emotional support.
Serve as the first line primary care team member for the Medical Home Port teams patient population and assigned nursing service personnel.
Be an active participant in the primary care team and has a level of responsibility for the oversight and care coordination for the patients needs.
Address medical issues in a compassionate, comprehensive and integrative manner utilizing a collaborative approach with emphasis on prevention of disease and promotion of health and wellness.
Responsible for ensuring the standards of ambulatory care nursing practice are met.
Administer immunizations and IV infusion medications in accordance with clinic protocols.
Administer specific medications at designated times and in designated routes.
Chart medication, dosage and time given and indicate if not administrated.
Observe patients and report pertinent data on condition and medication or treatments.
Chart nursing observations and ensure record is complete with all procedures and test results recorded.
Maintain required patient charts, forms, logs, records, registers, and census reports and collect required statistics.
Prepare equipment and assist providers and other team members with treatment procedures.
Recognize emergencies and respond with appropriate protocols.
