Counterintelligence Analyst
BASIC JOB DESCRIPTION
The Analyst conducts organized analytical assessments and evaluations to understand and/or evaluate complex issues to inform decision making, policy development, system development, management, or administration of client processes.
SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION
The candidate will assist the government with research, screen, collect, evaluate volumes of source data and CI materials and information. Assimilate threat data received together with the routine information developed with DSS field offices during assessments and staff assistance visits. Write tailored threat products for Agency use.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Advanced degree in a discipline relevant to the position plus at least two (2) years of relevant professional experience; or bachelor's degree plus at least five (5) years' relevant professional experience.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Candidate must have a current Top Secret security clearance and possess documented SCI eligibility within the past two years and have the following minimum
Qualifications:
Minimum four (4) years' experience with counterintelligence analysis and production
Apply the principles of intelligence research to analyze, evaluate, and interpret raw data collected from established sources to produce finished intelligence;
Be responsible for the development and maintenance of data in the subject field and for the production of reports and assessments
Prepare, present and defend portions of finished intelligence products
Experience using Intelligence Community message handling and retrieval systems such as M3, TAC
Familiarity with Palantir is highly desirable
