Position Summary
Jacobs is hiring for an Interior Designer in Quantico, VA. Responsible for creating interior environments that enhance organizational performance and achieve the client's business objectives utilizing best practices, and creative design solutions. Develops innovative interior architectural design concepts which are practical, aesthetic, safe, conducive to intended purpose and function, reflect client goals and are within project budget and schedule.
Assists in setting assignment objectives and work is reviewed for adequacy and accuracy. Is expected to contribute to the development of new ideas, techniques and standards. Participates in the implementation of the project process including programming, space planning, conceptual design, design development, and construction documents. Interacts with external personnel and clients on significant matters. On smaller projects may have responsibility of meeting with clients bringing back objectives to the team. May assist with training and managing levels one and two.
Technical/Functional
Responsibilities:
In a senior role, leads the pursuit of new client relationships and projects and selling the company's ability to produce and manage interior design projects
Obtains new business by working with Inside Sales on proposals and creating client presentations
Promotes and maintains existing client relationships
Defines the project elements to ensure that client expectations and deliverables are met
Provides strategic consulting services including but not limited to visioning, workplace strategies, and comparative building evaluations
Implements the project process including programming, space planning, conceptual 3D design development, lighting, furniture, finishes, equipment, construction documents/specifications, architectural detailing, and construction administration
Monitors projects to ensure they are meeting code requirements, standards, regulations and laws including accessibility guidelines and sustainability and LEED strategies
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field from an accredited school required
Six plus years' experience in a corporate design environment required
Expert computer skills to include Revit and AutoCAD as well as knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp Required
Top Secret Clearance required
Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills Preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
