JOB DESCRIPTION AND
Responsibilities:
Function primarily as a Microsoft SQL 2008 database administrator and Microsoft Server 2008 system administrator,
Assist in the setup and administration of internal Development Network
REQUIRED SKILLS AND
Qualifications:
Security Clearance: Must Possess and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
Bachelor's degree, preferably in business discipline with coursework in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent and related experience OR Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent and two (2) years' related experience OR High School diploma and four (4) years' related experience
Current CompTIA Security
CE (must have continuing education (CE) endorsement) or other certification meeting or exceeding DoD 8570 IAT Level II (GSEC, SSCP, CCNA-Security, CISA, CGCIH, CISSP, CASP)
Microsoft Windows SQL 2008 certification
Microsoft Windows Server 2008 certification (e.g., MCTS Windows Server 2008, Server Administrator; MCSA Windows Server 2008; MCSE Windows Server 2008)
DESIRED SKILLS AND
Qualifications:
Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration
Microsoft Windows 2008 Server Administration
Microsoft IIS Software Administration
SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
SQL Server Administration Services (SSIS)
Development Network setup and maintenance
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong analytical and management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group
Excellent time management and organization skills; ability to multi-task in a fast paced, large environment setting
Willingness and ability to learn new technologies
