JOB TITLE: Intelligence Analyst
PROJECT Overview:
The MCIOC provides operational support to Marine Forces (MARFOR) and to the Marine Corps and Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) and provides IO subject matter expertise in support of USMC IO advocates and proponents; enabling effective integration of IO into Marine Corps operations. The MCIOC is comprised of 150-170 full-time active duty Marines, Government Civilian and support personnel functioning as a centralized repository to provide the Commanders with focused IO planning and the ability to integrate full spectrum IO into all MAGTF operations. MCIOC mission and functional responsibilities include:
Perform the duties of Executive Agent for the Marine Corps Information Operations Program.
Form, train, equip and deploy IO and Military Information Support Operations (MISO) support teams.
Maintain a single, fused, and continuously accessible Marine Corps IO reach-back capability that is fully integrated with relevant information and analysis sources such as Joint, DOD, and other Government agencies.
Support the Marine Corps Advocate and Supporting Establishment in the development of IO and MISO personnel, equipment, and fiscal resources.
Sponsor the training, education, and retention of IO planners and MISO personnel in order to manage the USMC IO subject matter expertise.
Support Deputy Commandant for Combat Development and Integration (DC CD&I) in the development of IO doctrine and Deputy Commandant for Plans, Policies and Operations (DC, PP&O) with the development of IO policy.
Maintain functional relationships with all Joint, OSD, USG, and partner nation IO-related organizations.
To be considered for this position, applicants must have an active TOP SECRET DOD SECURITY CLEARANCE with a current SSBI (an interim clearance is not acceptable).

JOB DESCRIPTION AND
Responsibilities:
Provide assistance in the analysis of Information Operations intelligence relative to political, economic, social, cultural, physical, geographic, technical, or military issues in specific foreign countries.
Possess and demonstrate a
working knowledge of the information environment and the significance of regional conditions and trends in support of MCIOC day to day operations.
Provide dedicated and concurrent support to four (4) regionally focused teams: 1) Central Command CENTCOM/Southern Command SOUTHCOM, 2) Pacific Command PACOM, 3) Northern Command NORTHCOM, and 4) Africa Command AFRICOM/European Command EUCOM. Typical support activities include:
Develop and produce intelligence, meaningful conclusions and concise estimates of target activities and areas of interest
Support IO and Military Information Support Operations (MISO) planning and execution
Conduct liaison effort with other intelligence agencies and operational forces in support of daily operations
Develop and maintain communications and interface for all matters dealing with assigned geographic areas i.e.; CENTCOM, PACOM, EUCOM Special Operations Command SOCOM and SOUTHCOM
Analyze and evaluate information to assess developments, trends, and threat implications associated with Information Operations
Prepare and present briefings on assigned area of responsibility
REQUIRED SKILLS AND
Qualifications:
Security Clearance: TS/SCI
Bachelors' Degree in related field or 10
years of relevant experience in intelligence
5-10 years CI/HUMINT experience to include operational planning
8-10 years of experience in intelligence operations.
3 years IO analysis experience.
Current TS/SCI security clearance.
Strong leadership and communication skills, both written and oral.
Required to stand; walk; sit; handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Intel planner at COCOM or higher
Strengths in intelligence analysis, requirements and operations
Experience with Intel Cycle (collection, fusion, analysis, production, dissemination)
Able to employ new methodologies/technologies to assist with analysis.
Proven military intelligence professional
DESIRED SKILLS AND
Qualifications:
Analytic training and experience in tactical operations, FISS, counterterrorism
Foreign language skills
Formal Intel training at DOD schools
Experience supporting Marine operational requirements
