Overview:
Instruct Marines/Sailors preparing to deploy to the Middle East in both cultural and language skills.

Responsibilities:
Instruct Marines/Sailors preparing to deploy to the Middle East cultural and language skills.
Draft and edit written materials to assist instruction.
Evaluate multi-media and multi-discipline materials to assist that end.
Assist Desk Officer in running cultural and language training programs to deploying Marines/Sailors.
Provide assistance to Marine Corps Regional Cultural and Language Familiarization Program (RCLF).
Assist Program Manager in ensuring company maintains good relationship with the customer and is competitive in next contract bid.
Qualifications:
Familiar with techniques of military instruction, able to provide instruction to individuals and groups of up to 100, be able to provide input to curriculum development.
Familiarity with a Middle East-associated language (Arabic, Farsi, Urdu, Pashto, Uzbek); conversant with language instruction techniques.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Graduate-level academic knowledge of Middle East (to include parts of South Asia and Central Asia) or equivalent practical experience
Language Skills & Proficiency:
Familiarity with a Middle East-associated language (Arabic, Farsi, Urdu, Pashto, Uzbek); conversant with language instruction techniques.
Security Clearance:
Secret

Secret is preferred, not required.
Physical Demands:
Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Typically employees sit comfortably to do their work, interspersed by brief periods of standing, walking, bending, carrying papers and books, and extensive periods requiring the use of computer terminals to accomplish work objectives.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday
Standard Work Hours:
Core hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Travel Expectations:
Able to travel away from Quantico 20%.
Travel Schedule:
As needed to support the mission.
