Overview VTG is seeking Operations and Maintenance Services Maintenance Technicians in Quantico, VA to support the NavyWhat will you do?o Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturers' manuals or similar documentsExamples of such problems include determining the location and density of circuitry, evaluating electromagnetic radiation, isolating malfunctions, and incorporating engineering, changes.
o Work typically requires an understanding of the interrelationships of circuits, exercising independent judgment in performing such tasks as making circuit analyses, calculating wave forms, and tracing relationships in signal flow, using complex test instruments such as high frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, and complex computer control equipment.
o Work may be reviewed by supervisor for general compliance with accepted practicesThis position may provide technical guidance to lower-level technicians.
o Technicians shall be qualified to sustain the 100% Ao of each simulator and training device; to accomplish rapid restoration of simulators and training devices to FOC to minimize any negative effect upon training; to perform maintenance and supply support actions to ensure simulators and training devices achieve their full intended operational life; and to manage the MSP to achieve no degradation over the TO POP and all items are RFI on demandDo you have what it takes?o Demonstrate competence through satisfactory progressive performance as a Simulator TechnicianMinimum experience shall be exclusive of formalized training and include six years simulator maintenance of which two years demonstrate complex maintenance equivalent to all major areas of trainerso Shall be a graduate from a two-year resident Electronics Technician course at an accredited technical institute, or complete factory/formal training on the devices named in the task orderEquivalent simulator maintenance experience and education may be substituted, provided it is comparable to simulators, training devices and systems.

Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) Recommended Skills Audio Signal Flow Electronics Maintenance Top Secret (Ts Clearance) Waveforms Sensitive Compartmented Information (Sci Clearance) Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
