Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or closely related field Duties:
Providing policy and doctrine support to MCLE to include Assisting HQMC PP&O PS in providing Marine Corps wide law enforcement and security policy support including, but not limited to, Marine Corps Orders (MCO), naval messages, DoN Trackers, point papers, decision briefs, directives, regulations, policy letter development, policy revision, staffing, review and coordination.
This includes drafting positions on orders/Directives at levels above USMC (SECNAV, DOD) Assist in the development of Marine Corps LE future concepts, and other special projects as required Provide assistance on program changes and revision to include development, review and coordination on all proposed policies, regulations, directives, instructions and proposed exceptions to program standards impacting MCLE, including but not limited to:
Law Enforcement Manual, Marine Corps Civilian Law Enforcement Policy, USMC input to DODIs and Technical Manuals Provide updates on legislative and statutory requirements impacting MCLE to include but not limited to:
Code of Federal Regulations (CFR, OPM, DOD, Executive Orders, DON, and USMC Policies and doctrines); create and/or provide revisions to applicable MCLE Policy in accordance with regulatory guidelines and policies Provide program level coordination and response to Requests for Information (RFI) regarding MCLE policies to include research and analysis of law enforcement policy and doctrine; providing formal response to DoN Trackers; and information papers on MCLE policy and MCLEP Provide briefs and correspondence on MCLEP updates, innovations, or special projects, to include Power Point Briefs, Informational and Decision Papers; new, innovative law enforcement concepts and initiatives for assisting, supporting and improving law enforcement Provide annual report of status of USMC Law Enforcement policies to include status of policies, revisions, expiration dates, revision plan, and revision plan/updates Provide policy representation on committees and programs impacting MCLE to include attending Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Navy (DON) and International Association Chief of Police (IACP) committees Provide MCLE with Subject Matter Expert (SME) in law enforcement to assist with program support to include providing law enforcement and operational planning subject matter expertise to support the development and delivery of HQMC LE doctrine, analysis, training and implementation of emergent law enforcement requirements in support of MCLE Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (or qualified exemption for disability or religious belief, practice, or observance) Carry out other tasks as requested and assigned by the corporation, in time and manner.
Likewise, the employee must adhere to and abide by what is established in the policies, regulations, codes, and provisions of the company.

Required:
Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or closely related field A minimum of ten (10) years' experience in Marine Corps Law Enforcement Program, or DOD/Federal Level Law Enforcement Program/ Agency, including achieving the rank of Maj, MSgt, GS-10 or Project Manager; or OR A minimum of ten (10) years' experience in Criminal Justice/ Law Enforcement, achieving the position of Assistant Special Agent in Charge, Operations Officer, Lead Instructor, or Criminal Justice/ Criminology Professor Preferred:
Master's Degree in Criminal Justice or closely related field Authored and/or published minimum of five Law Enforcement, criminal justice related resources PhD in Criminal Justice or closely related field Experience working as Policy and Doctrine or Law Enforcement Subject Matter Expert within Law Enforcement Policy and Doctrine Writing Experience (authored, staffed or published DOD level documents) Ability to conduct root analysis Graduate of DOD level staff officer, Action Officer Course As required by Presidential Executive Order 14043 on September 9, 2021, all employees of a covered federal government contractor must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, except when vaccination is not medically advised or violates sincerely held religious beliefs, practices, or observances.
