Operations Engineer

Support cyber operations mission planning, including engineering solutions to protect and obtain information. Design, test, stage, and aassist with deployment of applications and data collection. Document the full scope of all activities associated with task assignments. Track compliance with legal requirements. Develop knowledgebase to assist in efficient and consistent guidance and solution planning.
Required Skills and Education
Required education: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related engineering fields or five additional years of experience computer engineering, administration, or information security engineering positions in lieu of a degree.
Experience with systems administration of platforms running Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems. Detailed experience with cloud services including Amazon Web Services. Proficiency in scripting languages including Python, Ruby, Perl, and Bash. Experience with data analysis including writing and parsing SQL queries. Knowledge of information security, malware, and antivirus products. Information assurance/security certifications. Experience supporting US Government or law enforcement agencies.
Preferred Skills and Education
Strong written and verbal communications skills including documenting design and deployment planning.
Hands on security engineering/administration with vulnerability research emphasis.
