Description :
Candidate will have experience in leading a team of Network , System, VOIP, and /or Service Desk personnel in supporting a large scale data center operation. In addition, the employee shall participate in the scheduling, coordination, and completion of all significant planned and emergency maintenance events for the facility and ensure these activities are executed in a controlled and proven method to ensure the reliability of these systems. This position is ultimately responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing operation strategies to ensure data center operation achieve the highest level of availability.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Manage the Operations team to maintain smooth and efficient operations of the MDIA systems; responsible for timesheets, candidate selection, providing performance feedback, conducting performance appraisals, and handling employee relations issues.
Oversee all Engineering operations, core infrastructure maintenance, and Data Center issues, and when necessary, either provides or assists to help solve them.
Manages the development and creates and ensures adherence to all defined standards for policies, procedures, documentation, and security within the Data Center. Evaluates current procedures and implements more effective support processes for all facets of Operations including the appropriate change control procedures.
Day to day service operations with industry standards and best practices linked to ITIL disciples such as incident, problem, change, capacity and business continuity and disaster recovery management.
Provides continual improvements on operational performances, system monitoring, quality procedures, and organizational efficiency by ensuring tools and processes. Has knowledge of current technology trends and top vendor offerings conducts research on products and services, and makes recommendations.
Coordinates with effective partners and Business Units for planned and unplanned data center productivity interruptions and testing. Participates, plans, and helps develop and test disaster recovery plans.
Participates in special projects, the development of IT strategies in collaboration with the executive team and performs other duties as required.
Be responsible for installation and management of all cable and network infrastructure supporting facility and customer connectivity.
Provide general knowledge of servers, SAN, networks, backup/recovery, VOIP, and other data center hardware.

Certification
Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and seven to nine years of related (telecommunication analysis) experience.
Seven years of increasingly complex and progressive experience in computer system/network engineering (Includes two years of specialized experience related to the assigned task).
The clearance level required is TS/SCI. The candidate must have an active TS with the ability to obtain an SCI.
Qualifications:
CCNP
Backgroud in computer science, information systems, and/or engineering.
